The Chalfonte Theatre, in partnership with the Chalfonte Foundation, is proud to present an unforgettable evening with one of Scotland’s most acclaimed traditional bands, The Tannahill Weavers, performing live on The Platform on Sunday, March 8, 2026.
Doors open at 4:00 PM, with the concert beginning at 5:00 PM. The performance will feature two 50-minute sets separated by a 15-minute intermission.
Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door, and—thanks to the Chalfonte Foundation’s commitment to arts access—youth ages 25 and under receive 50% off, an initiative designed to encourage young people to experience world-class cultural events and broaden their artistic horizons.
Richard Gilewitz, internationally renowned fingerstyle acoustic guitarist, brings his album release tour to The Platform at the Chalfonte Theatre on Thursday, May 14, 2026.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m., with a 7:00 p.m. show featuring two 45-minute sets. Celebrated for his virtuosic technique, humor, and storytelling, Gilewitz performs music ranging from Bach to blues, folk, jazz, and classic rock.
Ranked among the Top 100 Greatest Acoustic Guitar Players by DigitalDreamDoor, he has toured globally for over three decades and shared stages with artists including Leo Kottke, Warren Zevon, and America. This performance highlights selections from his tenth album, GILEWITZ.
Switchback returns to The Platform at the Chalfonte Theatre in Elk Rapids on Thursday, May 21, 2026, for a Memorial Day weekend concert featuring original Americana and Celtic music.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m., with two lively 45-minute sets by Brian FitzGerald and Martin McCormack. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door (if available). General admission is $25, with half-price tickets for ages 18 and under. All ages welcome.
